Privacy Policy

Effective 18 August 2026. Privacy is part of the product, not an afterthought.

This policy explains how SugarDaddyManchester.co.uk collects and uses personal data. Before launch, the operator's legal name, registered address, Data Protection Officer details and ICO registration information must be inserted.

1 — Data we collect

We may collect account details such as name, age confirmation, email address and login credentials; profile information such as biography, preferences, photographs and general location; technical information including IP address, device, browser and security logs; and communications you send to support.

2 — Sensitive profile choices

Dating profiles can reveal information about relationships, sexuality or lifestyle. Only provide information you are comfortable sharing with other members. Profile visibility controls do not eliminate the possibility that another person may copy visible content.

3 — How we use information

We use data to create and secure accounts, display profiles according to chosen settings, recommend relevant members, enable messaging, prevent fraud, investigate reports, provide support, improve performance and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases may include contract, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligation depending on the purpose.

4 — Messages and moderation

Private messages are stored to deliver conversations and may be accessed by authorised systems or personnel when necessary to investigate abuse, enforce rules, protect users or comply with law. Do not share financial credentials or highly sensitive documents through messages.

5 — Payments

If paid features are available, payment card information should be processed by a specialist provider. We may receive transaction identifiers, status, billing country and limited card details but should not store full card numbers or security codes.

6 — Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep accounts secure and remember settings. Optional analytics or marketing cookies should be used only with the required consent. A production cookie banner must describe each non-essential category and allow refusal as easily as acceptance.

7 — Sharing and international transfers

We may use vetted providers for hosting, security, email, moderation, analytics and payments. They may process data only under contractual instructions. If data moves outside the UK, appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses will be used.

8 — Retention and security

We retain data only as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, disputes and safety. Security measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, logging, backups and incident response. No online service can promise absolute security.

9 — Your UK data protection rights

Depending on circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your data; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Identity verification may be required before a request is completed.

10 — Children

The service is exclusively for adults aged 20 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from people below the site's eligibility age and will remove such accounts when identified.

11 — Contact and changes

Contact privacy@sugardaddymanchester.co.uk with privacy questions. We may update this policy and will post a new effective date. This template requires review by a UK data protection professional and must be aligned with the actual technology used before launch.
